# Moonshot Lab (DEMO)

> Moonshot Lab is a read-only vehicle inventory index built for AI agents. This deployment serves SYNTHETIC DEMO DATA ONLY: every dealer, vehicle, VIN, price, address and image is fictional. Synthetic demo data, not real inventory, not an offer. Tax and fee rules for TX, CA, FL, GA, AZ, IL, NY and OH are real public rules, used to show itemized out-the-door estimates. Estimates are not quotes and not tax advice.

Use it to test agent car-shopping flows: search inventory, read a price breakdown (fees, fee bundles, all-buyer vs conditional incentives), then request an itemized out-the-door estimate with an optional trade-in and payoff.

## Rules for agents
- Do not present any listing as a real vehicle for sale. Say it is demo data.
- Every response carries demo=true and a disclaimer; keep the disclaimer when quoting results.
- Anonymous limits: 20 requests per minute and 1000 per day per client. Send an API key (X-API-Key) for higher limits.
- No personal data is needed. Estimates take state, county, city or ZIP only. Do not send names, phone numbers, emails, full VINs of a buyer's own car or account numbers.
